They use superior Scandinavian designers; very competitive leather suppliers worldwide and well know Danish efficiency in shipping. Leather has been core business for Unico in decades. Unico only uses the top layer of the hide from the best tanneries. The leather is dyed as evenly as possible, however it is a natural product and variation will occur. They supply two qualities. Standard leather is "corrected cow", which includes a full surface treatment. Standard leather is more durable to light and stains – this type leather is ideal for daily use. Chairs with standard leather come with artificial leather on the back of the chair and other areas not being used. Our semi-aniline leather is has got a light surface treatment, which provides a softer leather but also more susceptible to stains and it must be used with care. All Semi-aniline leather chairs come in full leather. Besides leather we use a few types of fabric; like Eleganza microfiber, which offers second to none comfort and easy maintenance! They also do traditional fabrics on very few models. By far the most of our chairs comes with swivel function and step less reclining back. Experience shows that flexible chairs that offers many sitting positions makes it easier for you to relax and enjoy life…. Unico has been a family owned company ever since the beginning. Mirror company using solid wood frames (a very limited number use urethane - better than hollow styrene), diamond back coating on the glass, 1¼ to 1½ inch bevels (much wider than industry standard) and an average shipping time of 3 weeks.
